Stay-A-While Cat Shelter has several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the shelter. If you are interested in helping or attending any of these events, please call or email the shelter.
Cat Shows
Stay-A-While Cat Shelter has a table set up at cat shows where you can purchase baked goods, cat beds, cat mats and other various items. There is a Sacred Cat of Burma Fanciers Cat Show in August in Medina. For information about the cat shows call the shelter at 440-582-4990.
Fall Dinner Fundraiser
In September or October, Stay-A-While has an annual dinner event to raise funds for the shelter. We have baskets full of various donated items to raffle off, several 50/50 raffles, door prizes and lots of good food and desserts. This is a very popular event and we raise money for the shelter while having a great time with other cat lovers.
Gifts For Our Kitties
During the holiday season, we collect gifts for our Stay-A-While cats. There are stockings located in the office area of the shelter during the month of December for anyone who would like to give a gift to our kitties. Ideas for gifts are treats, canned food, toys, catnip, etc. The kitties really love it!
Christmas Boutique
Every November through December our Stay-A-While Gift Shop turns into a beautiful Christmas Boutique filled with all kinds of holiday merchandise. Please keep our Christmas Boutique in mind when shopping for those holiday gifts. You will be giving that special gift for someone and you will also be donating to our cats.
Borders Gift Wrap
Borders bookstore in Strongsville offers a gift wrap service for purchases made during the holidays. We participate in gift wrapping during the month of December. Please contact us to find out when Stay-A-While will be at Borders.
